Submissions

As a small agency, we focus our efforts on a very select group of authors. Our primary focus and attention is always on existing client relationships. But we are looking for the right authors with important ideas. We do represent a variety of genres in non-fiction and fiction, but do not represent children’s books, academic works or poetry.

Only submissions made to submission@christopherferebee.com that follow these guidelines will be considered. Please do not attempt to query the agency via social media or telephone. It is also not necessary to submit multiple queries to individual agents.

Please submit the following information in the body of your email, with the subject SUBMISSION:

• Name 
• Telephone Number
• Publishing History
• Sales History
• Referral Source

In addition, we have created a proposal template that you may download for free and use. Please attach to your email a query letter, as well as a proposal for the specific project you are seeking an agent for. If you do not know how to craft a query letter or proposal, there are multiple sources available online through a simple search of “literary query letter” and “book proposal.” While you may submit a designed proposal in PDF format, we ask that you include a Word version of your proposal as well.

We will make every effort to respond to your query within four weeks.

PLEASE NOTE, we do not accept hardcopy proposals sent via US Mail unless specifically requested in that format.
